We had a completely wonderful time in Bucharest at the Arcub Fest .

Can i say thanks to – Lucian , Raluca, Tereza, all at Arcub and the British Council for such a smoothly organised event (and an amazingly heavy book on the history of the city! ).

It was the biggest live audience yet for Panacea (at 2000+) , a debut in Romania,  and we enjoyed every moment! After what felt like a hot 30degree on stage soundcheck , all were glad it cooled a bit for the evening performance.

Thanks also to special guest Corey Mwamba (ninja vibes), Deborah Jordan (vocals), Neil Charles (bass), Laurie Lowe (drums) for stellar playing.

Here are some of the many photos documenting the trip. I love that the  5 Lei  bank note has music notation on one side and the legend that was George Enescu on the other (genius teacher of Yehudi Menuhin amongst a myriad of accomplishments).  I truly hope we can return !

Thanks to Tereza and the official photographers of the fest  (and many thanks also, to the guy at Heathrow who took our return photo as well!)
